The lounge area has a beamed ceiling with two large, comfortable sofas and is a great place to sit and relax after a busy day exploring the delights of Cornwall. There is a large flat screen television with Sky Plus, and a DVD player, so you can watch your favourite programs at a time that suits. A telephone is also available for incoming calls.
The kitchen and dining area has a large oak table which seats six and is ideal for family meals. A highchair is also available for children. The Oak kitchen is very well equipped, and has everything you need to prepare a light snack through to a full meal for a special occasion. This includes an electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
The backdoor leads to the courtyard where there is an outhouse which has a separate washing machine and tumble dryer, and space to store buggies etc.
The three bedrooms are light and airy and have oak furniture - there are two double rooms – both with king sized beds - and a further room with twin beds. The front room has a TV. All beds are freshly made up for your arrival, and have cotton bed linen and a good mattress to ensure you'll have a comfortable night's rest. Guests towels are also provided. All bedrooms, especially the two front rooms have estuary views. A travel cot is available.
Family bathroom has been recently refitted with a modern white suite with electric shower into the bath, a tiled floor, and heated towel rails.
The newly rebuilt courtyard is private and secure and split over two levels linked by steps and glass screens. The upper level has a patio table and chairs and provides a lovely suntrap for outside dining and relaxing with a drink. The steps and lower level are finished in traditional slate and provide some shade and an area where children can play safely under supervision. Bikes, outdoor toys or diving gear can be stored here too.
